WORKOUT DISCRIPTION

 

Yoga with Heidi:

 

Yoga classes are perfect for learning correct breathing methods, alignment and technique in a wide range of postures (asanas). You will move through a well-rounded selection of poses that will invigorate, rejuvenate and restore the body, mind and spirit. Heidi’s classes are a fluid form of exercise that balances body and mind, strength & flexibility, self & spirit.

 

 

Yoga with Gui:

 

Swásthya Yoga is the name of the systematization of the ancient yoga known as Dakshinacharatantrika-Niríshwarasámkhya Yôga, considered by some to be the most complete yoga in the world. It is a technical and powerful style of yoga, and incorporates many of the elements of a vinyasa flow class, including flowing postures, as well as chanting and sutra information

 

  

Aerobics:

 

A cardiovascular workout that combines fun and energetic combinations working all major muscles. Simple to more complex foot patterns are introduced in this class to create more of a challenge.

 

 

Fast & Furious:

 

A high energy, high intensity workout that challenges everyone from novice exercisers to advanced athletes with dynamic movements involving strength, agility, balance, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance.

 

Dave's vast knowledge of how to work the body is used to create a fun, fast, and furious class!

 

 

Power Hour:

 

Get the most out of your hour by increasing your heart rate and including multi-joint exercises for an effective, challenging and active strength & conditioning class. An action packed class that gives you a great functional strength and cardio workout.

 

 

Muscle Conditioning & Sculpting:

 

A classic muscular endurance and strength workout using hand weights, benches, body bars, tubing, and resistance bands to cause overload to working muscle groups.

 

  

Pilates:

 

Strengthen your body from the inside out. Pilates is a challenging exercise of core strength aimed at empowering the internal muscles that support the body. 

Breathing, joint release and muscle elongations abound. Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.

  

***11:30 weekday classes incorporate elements of cardio vascular for a balanced lunch hour workout.
